About Sorana
Sorana Cirstea, 36, sits at No. 17 with 2,294 points, her strongest ranking in years. Only six places off her career best, the Romanian has built her current spot on a sturdy season: 23 wins, seven losses, and a 77 percent success rate.
Those numbers were forged mainly on right-handed precision and canny point construction typical of the tour’s most experienced grinders. Cirstea owns six career titles, but this run suggests her best finishing work may still be ahead. Her early exit risk is low, and her current form deserves attention from any draw overseer.
