About Naomi
Naomi Osaka, 28, holds the No. 13 ranking on the WTA with 2,846 points. The eight-time tour titlist has played a quiet 2025 stretch to date, posting one win against one loss for a flat 50 percent win rate. That early balance suggests a player still shaking off match rust rather than one in full flight.
Osaka, born in Japan, has long blended power with aggressive court movement, a style that tends to reward longer runs once she finds her rhythm. Her current record leaves room for a sharp uptick, with ranking points and form both available for the taking as the season deepens.
