Madison Keys

Keys builds points around one of the heaviest first strikes on tour. The right-handed American steps inside the baseline at every opportunity, redirecting serve returns and rally balls with flat, aggressive swings that force opponents onto the defensive. That willingness to hit through the court carries real risk, but her 67 percent career win rate shows the payoff outweighs the occasional error. At 31, she wraps the power in smarter shot selection, mixing in drop shots and sharp angles to open space.

Now ranked 23rd with 1,909 points, Keys owns 10 career titles and has opened the season 2-1. Her early match count is light, so her rhythm still builds, but the core formula holds: shorten points, take time away, and let the natural racquet speed do the finishing work. Surface matters less than the first ball, because once she dictates, few can match her pace cleanly.
