Lorenzo Musetti

Lorenzo Musetti, the 24-year-old from Italy, works the court with a right-handed flair that separates him from most of the baseline pack. Ranked 14th with 2,605 points, he leans on a one-handed backhand that can whip angles or drop short, and his slice creates time he uses to step in and dictate. That touch is not decoration; it shifts opponents out of rhythm, especially when he drags rallies cross-court before changing direction.

His numbers this season, 3-1 with a 75 percent win rate, reflect that mix of craft and control. Musetti holds two career titles, and within those matches you see a pattern of deliberate risk, attacking the net when the opening appears rather than purely trading from deep. On the right surfaces, his variety becomes a genuine weapon, one that keeps taller, flatter hitters guessing. The challenge remains sustaining that creativity against the very top, but his blend of feel and footwork makes every outing unpredictable.
