Lilli Tagger

Lilli Tagger, 18, has already collected 11 career titles, a number that most players do not reach until their mid-20s. The Austrian sits at No. 48 with 1,141 points, and her 19 wins against nine losses this season put her win rate at 68 percent.

That mix of early hardware and steady ranking progress makes her one of the younger players on the WTA with a working template for the next step: converting smaller titles into deep runs at bigger events. The gap between winning a 125K or a lower-tier final and beating top-20 opposition in a major’s second week is substantial. Tagger’s age gives her time, but her current trajectory suggests the move up should come soon rather than later.

Her birthplace and nationality are Austria, where she remains based as her schedule expands.
