Jaqueline Cristian

Jaqueline Cristian arrives in Paris at a career-high No. 43, the Romanian currently sitting on 1,181 ranking points. That tally places her among the stable mid-tier of the WTA field, a segment where consistency earns the biggest rewards. She has done her best work in her late twenties, edging up steadily without large swings.

At 28 and still right-handed from her Romanian base, Cristian remains a stubborn competitor, especially on clay where point construction favors her extended rallies. Her current position, fourth among active Romanians on tour, gives her a clear target as the season shifts to its busiest stretch.
