About Grigor
Grigor Dimitrov remains the standard-bearer for Bulgarian tennis, though his return to the tour in 2025 has brought a modest start. Sitting at No. 137 with 432 points, he is far from the Top 10 peaks of his earlier years. Yet his 1-1 season record, which includes a 50 percent win rate, suggests a steady rebuilding phase rather than a sharp decline.
The 35-year-old right-hander carries nine career titles into this stretch of his career. No other Bulgarian man has matched his sustained presence at the sport’s highest level, and he continues to serve as the reference point for younger players from his country. His ranking, while low, still places him clearly as the nation’s most recognizable active male competitor on the ATP circuit.
