Alexander Blockx

Alexander Blockx sits at No. 32 in the ATP rankings, the clear standout of Belgian men’s tennis at 21. With 1,396 points and seven career titles already banked, he has moved past the promising-pro stage into the upper tier of the tour. His 26-10 season record, a 72 percent win rate, shows a young right-hander who converts consistent weeks into results.

Blockx carries the weight of a nation used to Grand Slam heroes but thin on current depth. Belgium has long leaned on Federer-era veterans or doubles specialists, and Blockx now offers a rare singles spearhead for the Davis Cup and beyond. At his age, the ranking gap between him and the rest of the Belgian field is significant, making his every deep run a national headline. The next step is turning that domestic dominance into sustained ATP presence.
