Tomas Berdych

Tomas Berdych turns 41 in September, 13 career titles to his name and a career-high ranking of No. 4 from 2015. His defining moment remains the Wimbledon 2010 final, where he beat Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic back-to-back before falling to Rafael Nadal. He also lifted the Davis Cup twice with the Czech Republic, in 2012 and 2013.

Berdych retired in 2019, yet at this stage of life, his role often shifts. Players his age typically move into coaching, commentary, or mentoring roles, and Berdych already surfaced at events doing exactly that. A big server and flat hitter from the baseline, his game was built on efficiency, and that clarity translates naturally into analysis. He rarely chased flash, just results, which suits the next phase.
